Dr Laura Peirson is a registered medical practitioner currently training under the Royal Australian
College of General Practitioners. She holds a Doctor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Medical
Science (Honours) from the University of New South Wales. Â
Prior to General Practice, Laura worked for several years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. During this time, she obtained her advanced diploma in Obstetrics
and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG - adv). She worked as an Obstetric and Gynaecology registrar
with responsibilities including care for women throughout their pregnancies, management of
labour and delivery and work up and management of gynaecological conditions.
As a result, she has a great love for women’s health at all stages ranging from family planning,
pregnancy and postpartum care, infertility, gynaecology and menopause.
Laura enjoys the full depth and breath of general practice and understands the importance of
having a caring, approachable and reliable doctor for the whole family. She practices holistic
medicine with a focus on disease prevention and creation of tailored medical plans.
